I was going to write a lot, but I decided to share some things...

It was an interesting day... Mixed episode that started MANIC as hell, then fell off...

I discovered that a treasure of a man, Coco Robicheaux, died back in November. He was a successful blues musician here in New Orleans and known all over the world... I never "knew" him, but I had a chance to meet and hang out with him on a couple of occasions when I was young. (The news story is here)

How I missed his passing, I will never know - but today, I would like to share things that move me... Things that have caused deep emotion in my black little soul. I hope you can find a little joy in each one as well.

This is a song saying goodbye to the late Coco Robicheaux and Kenny Holladay.

The Butterfly Nebula from Hubble
The sky holds a lot of wonder for me.

Ash and Lightning Above an Icelandic Volcano
As does the planet we live on.

Carl Sagan was one of my personal heroes. This piece of music is... powerful... I actually tear up when I hear it.

A visual depiction of the Mandelbrot Set.
The logical underpinnings of the universe.

Tesla coil emissions
A Tesla coil.

A snowflake
I hate cold, but I find this breath-taking

I know, it's random and disorganized, but these are a couple things i find beauty in. I will actually write an entry when I get up.
